Pandit Viswa Mitra - The Wisest of the Three Wise Men with Infant Jesus
Pandit Viswa Mitra, in ancient Sanskrit writings in India tell how this rich ruler in India went to see the King that was born in Israel; Yeshua. He saw Him, came back, and then years later left home to return to Israel to preach to the Jews about Jesus. The Scriptures are written to have referred to him, Mark 9:38, and Luke 9:49. It makes sense that one who knew who Jesus is during that time as the Savior of the world; the King of Kings, and had more faith/knowledge of Jesus than the 12 Disciples because of God's favor on him already....choses as the few who headed the group to bring gifts to Him as an infant. Called by God to come back and preach would be able to do as the disciples in miracles because of FAITH IN JESUS!!!
And doubting Thomas, one of the disciples is attributed to have gone to India to witness to them! I wonder if he went with Pandit Viswa Mitra, and worked together preaching and praying!!!??
Many things to ponder, wonder, and above all....give ALL the glory to God. Be is 100% true or just a good chance of truth.....it is still amazing to see God at work in our lives!!!
