At 4:30 PM today, I laid down to take a nap. As soon as I did, I received a phone call from my friend Steve. He said to me, "Last night I was in prayer and the Lord said to, "Steve, you have a car you are not using in storage a few miles from PJ. Why not get rid of it?"" So he asked me if I wanted to buy the car!!!

History, I helped Steve go up north on Labor Day two years ago (I think) and follow him down. The car is a Buick and made in 1990 with 80,000 miles. He put in about $800 in new parts. So he said that he would sell me the car for $2,500. He purchased it for $2,000 and cleaned it up real nice. I have rode in the car and he babies it.

Yes, I would love to own the car. Yes, I told him that I needed to pray about it and see what the Lord has to say about it. If the Lord wanted me to buy the car then I knew He would provide all the income for me to do so without touching anything that is not mine. I refuse to touch the Lord's things to get anything. So I prayed about it.

Now, I will watch to see what the Lord will do and say about this matter. If God wants me to have the car, then He will provide by giving me the money through work or otherwise. If He does not want me to have it then He will not do so.

As much as I want this car....for I had just told one of my coworkers who recently purchased a Buick that I had never owned one and would love one. I could make this happen on my own...but I want to see what God will do and say.

So now I sit back and wonder since God moved on my friend before I prayed for Him to do so .... is this the car that God wants me to have? It is a beauty of a car and 22 years old!!!

Awaiting on God in prayer, faith, and hope to see what His Will is for me on this subject!
