Not even two weeks ago....I have a large need which I could handle it man's way and take care of it....or go to God in private prayer and ask Him to handle it. I told no one about what was needed nor anything. I wanted to see what God would do.
Yes, it would have been cheaper and easier to do it the normal way that the world does things. But I believed that God would take care of it through prayer and faith. He would do so or direct me in what to do. I touched not His things nor His money.
In the last few days God did indeed answer that prayer and gave me all the money needed to take care of the matter and more. Just like I KNEW He would. Now this part is Not Lip Service....I truly believe it.....My God is the same God as George Muller and He is interested in showing not only the church, but the lost that His arm is not short that He cannot provide.
As my Aunt Thelma used to tell me, "When the church behaves badly. What is that to you....Jesus says, "Follow thou me." John Wesley was one man....and he changed not only himself...but his country and the world. God has proved Himself over and over again that He will provide everything as needed IF it is according to His Will.
A friend and dear brother of mine followed the ways of the churches. He asked me for money for a need to pursue his ph. D. studies. We communicated and I expressed my thoughts about taking it to God privately and let now anyone know the need but Him. He did so....and waited...and waited....an opportunity that looked good past......then God opened the door to a better path! He opened the opportunity to go after his ph.D. studies in a place where great men of God have walked before him!! He now is experienced in the George Muller and Hudson Taylor faith and walk!
Oh...btw....God not only answered my prayer for the need....He rewarded me with many gifts too! And personally....people have always let me down or left my world one way or another.....but God has given me love, hope, faith, grace, and never leaves me ....even when I am awful at times...I can depend on Him!
