At 731 am Tuesday February 12th Peter Nortier's life moves into the eternal life while the prostrate, bladder, bone cancer died! Oh death you have no sting! And grave no victory!!!!!!

On behalf of the members of the Civil Air Patrol and Michigan Wing, I would like to express our deepest sympathies to the family of Chaplain (Lt Col) Peter Nortier. He was a member of our CAP family for five decades. He was a great influence on me and my friends as cadets. In our hearts we are all sad because we no longer will have his active influence in our lives. It is easier to accept his passing knowing that his pain has ended and that he is united with his dear wife and basking in the glory of God this day.
May God bless his soul and the souls of all of the faithfully departed, and may the perpetual Light shine upon him.
