I once owned a car that you had to push to start. So, after visiting grandma at the hospital my wife and I did our routine, one pushed, one steered and popped the clutch. The car started and off we went. We were block a way when my wife exclaimed: "The baby!" We had left our three week old baby in his carrier by the sidewalk.
In Isaiah 49:15-16 we read: "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. NKJV
It is possible that a parent can forget a child but God will never forget His people. He will pay the price, indeed, has paid the price, so that His own are forever secure in His love. The nail prints in His hands reveal the length God was willing to go to remember His people and redeem them. He has inscribed you on the palms of His hands, never to forget His great love for you!
Have you slidden away from God? Have you thought that God doesn’t care about you? He loves you so much that He has given everything to free you from sins prison and to pardon you from judgments fire. Coming running back to God’s love for you. He has never forgotten you, He has inscribed you on the palms of His Hands.
