Here, we receive another reminder that the beauty of the virtuous woman lies in her character. She has strength of mind which aids and leads her to honorable actions. To pursue strength of mind is to bathe your mind and heart in the Word of God. She is not a strong woman in and of herself; this would be no virtue at all. Her strength and honor comes from her walk with the Lord, as she is strengthened with the power of His might. She also has the ability to rejoice in the time to come, because she knows who holds tomorrow. She exercises biblical hope for future events, because she believes God’s word, over her own gloom and doom predictions of the future. May we, both men and women, follow this example, to the glory of Jesus Christ.
