In yesterday’s devotion, we noticed that the virtuous woman’s actions were guided under the law of love. Today, we see that the law of love has given her a willingness to work. The virtuous woman is aware of the needs of her household, and she is willing to work in order to make sure those needs are met. Again I want to point out that the virtue here, is not that the woman is able to accomplish every task, every day, but that she is aware of the needs in her household, and she has a willingness to work toward meeting those needs. It would be tempting to read this and drowned yourself under the weight of those unchecked boxes on your “to do list”. However, this virtue has more to do with your heart, than your “to do list”.
