This morning my reading was in Judges 1:1 through 3:30. We find the children of Israel followed God all the days of Joshua. They also followed God during the days of those who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the works of God which He had done for Israel.
This morning, let us not forget how important it is to testify to the works of God's hands. We need to be sure to let others know how we have seen the hand of God at work in our lives and in the world around us.
The problem in Israel was that another generation arose which knew not the Lord nor the work which He had done for Israel. Therefore, the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord and served other Gods.
Do not let your family grow up without them knowing how God has worked in your life. Tell them of the blessings of God. Tell them how He has changed your life. Testify to the power of God and the hand of God in your life.
The same needs to be proclaimed in our churches. We need to let others know how God has worked in our midst. We need to testify to the glory of God. We need to tell others so a generation does not grow up which does not know the Lord, nor the work which He has done for us.
