Please pray for Elder Ron Vandenburg. A little over a week ago, he suffered a mini-stroke and his been in the hospital since. There is a blockage in a carotid artery which will need surgery but Ron will have to gain some strength first. There is a big celebration planned for Ron and Marions 50th wedding anniversary on July 3rd. The hope is that he will be able to come home for the celebration and then return to the hospital for the surgery.
Please pray for God's hand of mercy on Ron. One of his daughters writes, "Please continue to pray for this surgery. It will be tough on dad and that God would have mercy on "US" that we may have him around for a lot longer. (Selfish motives, I know!)"
