Our last day was spent touring the area of Yangon City. The team went to a park-like compound where traditional housing of the tribal people of Myanmar was on display to show how they once lived. It was very similar to “Old World Wisconsin,” just southwest from Milwaukee. It was another very hot day and we got some relief by the rains that came for a time. We were driven around the city and had lunch before returning to the hotel to pack for Romania. There were a lot of tears as everyone said goodbye to one another. We will never forget our friends in Myanmar!! We are now off to Romania, our last stop before going home.
