Proving God .... My Spiritual Journal - #86

My best friend saw all the pills that I am taking on a daily bases. He exclaimed to me, "How do you do it? How do you take all these pills and never complain about your condition with Cancer?" I said to him, "I never know how many days I have left, so I live everyday to the fullest and enjoy everything of God's around me. Besides, why complain? No one wants to listen to a complainer....but when you rejoice people listen to you and I can witness about God at the same time!"

There are times in life when you just are out of focus. You feel at times like you just want someone who will let you snuggle up to them and just hold you. Listen to you and gently guide you with uplifting and encouraging things that will motivate you to be a better person. But sometimes....you just want to be still and be held.

I have closed my eyes, prayed to God, and just felt myself snuggled up against His loving shoulder. Just telling Him the truth of my situation and feelings. He loves it when we do that. And there are times I just tell Him...I just want to feel your arm around me...I need You. And He has done just that.

I am definitely not perfect. But God is always there for me and has never let me down.

To God be ALL the glory!

Pj
