Praise the Lord! We made it! After a day and a half-long trip via 4 flights, we arrived in Bacolod City in the Philippines at about 10 PM local time. We had several snags along the way, beginning with a necessary tire change to the GCC coach twenty minutes into going to Chicago! Once on the plane, we taxied out to the runway and were delayed 2 hours while a thunderstorm raced through Chicago. Because of the delay, we missed our flight out of Los Angeles. As we were sitting waiting to get rescheduled, a representative from our airline came and got us, and rushed us over to the Korean Airlines. There was another plane leaving within the hour! Three workers worked very quickly to get us booked onto the flight and we ran to the airplane just prior to take off! Thank you for your prayers! Had we not made this flight, we would have had to wait until Thursday evening to catch another plane out. After a 12-hour flight, we landed in Seoul, Korea. There we were able to connect with our original flight to Manila. Once we arrived in Manila, we had a 4 hour wait before leaving for Bacolod City, which was also delayed. Once we got to Bacolod, the EE group went on to the Gospel Center where they will conduct the EE clinic. Pastor Groves and Jody were picked up by Max and Grace Hughes and had another 2-hour drive to Kabankalan. Today is Saturday, a day for all to rest up. Tomorrow the EE group travels to Kabankalan to attend Sunday morning services in which Pastor Groves will preach. Please continue to pray for us for endurance as we begin the EE clinic and Spiritual Boot Camp seminars in a few days.
