Phil Johnson is Executive Director of Grace to You, the media ministry of John MacArthur. Phil is also an elder at Grace Community Church, where he pastors the Grace Life fellowship group. He is probably best known for his websites, which include The Spurgeon Archive http://www.spurgeon.org and The Hall of Church History. Phil's wife, Darlene, has been his partner in life and ministry since 1978. Together they raised three sons and now delight in being grandparents (with four grandchildren—and another on the way).

Phil will be on Cross Encounters Radio Sunday night at 6pm PST on June 9th, the live broadcast can be listened to at http://tobtr.com/s/4932905 the interview will also be avaiable for download via the same link.

Later this year, on October 16-18, Pastor John MacArthur and Grace Community Church will host a conference called “Strange Fire” http://www.tmstrangefire.org Thousands of people have registered. Pastor John MacArthur is well-known for his biblical stance against “Charismania.” His classic work “Charismatic Chaos” drew a definitive line in the sand on the issue. There seems to be a sense of urgency with this conference.Phil Johnson will answer; Why a conference like this is necessary today? Is the Charismatic Movement changing? Growing?
