Was Luther Wrong?

"that the question for you might not be Luther’s question, 'How can I be saved?' [rather] The question for you ought to be, 'What does God require?' "

This question, asked at a Reformation rally a few years ago, challenged the Reformed Calvinistic faith to rethink its view of salvation and covenant. What God requires is perfect obedience! But man cannot fulfill this. So, Luther's question was right all along!

A new view of what it means to be Reformed is spreading through the churches.

Men today are contending that some of those for whom Christ died and forgave their sins were just as saved as the elect, but did not persevere in salvation. In other words, those elect in Christ can lose their salvation.

Do these men truly believe this? What exactly are they saying? How does it compare with the Biblical data and the historic position of the church?

Professor Alan Strange of Mid-America Reformed Seminary will present an illuminating lecture, showing what is being taught and how it impacts the lives of families and churches alike.
