We also pray for the life of this congregation, that your Holy Spirit would indwell each of us, giving us the ability to love unconditionally those you have placed in our lives, family, church family, friends and neighbors. Help us, that we may be a light to those in our community.

We pray that the work of our hands will bring glory to your name. Lord, we thank and praise you for your daily provision. We thank you for providing and meeting our needs week after week with great preaching from the pulpit from men after your own heart. We pray that the application of the messages you send to us through these servants would root in our hearts and in our homes.

Lord, we also want to thank you for the opportunity to serve you through our ministries, fellowship and worship. Lord, we want to lift up to you, all of the volunteers, church staff and leadership. We ask for your favor over these that love and serve you with their whole hearts.

Lord, we the search committee, pray that you would open our hearts and minds to what you would have the Holy Spirit impart to us.

We pray for the new pastor whose name is known to you alone, that he be open to your call. Please grant him peace and wisdom as he abides in your will and as he seeks your daily counsel and guidance. Please grant him in fullness, sensitivity to the urging of the Holy Spirit. Also, please give us, the church and the search committee, wisdom, discernment, patience and you’re peace, the peace that passes all understanding, as we wait upon your timing for the selection of a new Shepherd.
