From the Wells of Salvation - Radio Broadcast for October 19, 2012 Fifteen Billion Dollars! That is how much Americans spend on bottled water each year. Many will spend as much for a bottle of water as they would for a Coke or Pepsi. In Jerusalem during the Feast of Tabernacles, they sang Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation. (Isaiah 12:3 NKJV) as they drew water from the Pool of Siloam and carried it to the temple to pour at the altar.
In John 7:37-38 we read: On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” NKJV
“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink; Jesus said.” That invitation is still open to you. If you are dead and empty spiritually, then you are the thirsty one Jesus invites come and drink. Your spiritual hunger and thirsts are satisfied when you are made right with God through Jesus His Son. If you believe in Him, you will not perish but have everlasting life. Come to the springs of living water, it doesn’t come from a bottle, it flows out from Jesus.
