Do others see you and think that God is a liar or dead? What does your behavior show on money?
Sometimes I wonder if the majority of the Christians See with their eye and do not perceive, hear and do not understand. I wonder if the "American Way" of our church behavior has been in fact wrong for at least several centuries and has taught even our Pastors and seminary students incorrect beliefs. Have you ever wondered if we in fact can have our hearts dull and sheared into wrong thoughts? I wonder this about myself and actively pursue the doing away of all that I find wrong.
Let me give you an example....Phil 4:19....I think we in our hearts believe indirectly that God is weak and/or a liar. We believe that He did not mean what He wrote through men in the Bible. I believe that we think that those verses do not apply to "us" or "me". Yes....it is fine to think beliefs but when the pressure is on .... let me do the easy way and rely on people and the "way the Church has done it for years."
So when God said that He will supply "All our needs" ...etc....and it follows inline with the promises written in scriptures....why in the world do we ignore God and go to man? Why do we BEG the people in the church for any and all of our needs from man? Is God a Liar? Does God not mean what He wrote? Is man more powerful and trustworthy? That is exactly what we portray when we ignore the directions and promises from the Bible and go against it.
If in doubt that it works...read the life stories of Hudson Taylor, George Muller, Franke, and many others that decided they will take God at His word...pray to Him only and not tell man the need and wait on God to supply. AND HE DID EVERY TIME WITHOUT SHRINKING THE SUPPLY BUT IN ABUNDANCE GAVE!
It is time to teach the way of the Bible and not the way of the church that is still following the old Catholic devilish ways of "getting money" for one cause or another. If God has not supplied....then it is not needed to be done.
Now...this does not apply to when someone asks us directly to our face for money. That is another principle that I think we need to look at examples like Tyndale and others....freely have you received....freely give. This is far different than Christians who refuse to go to God first and trample what could be glory to His name and a witness to others by having faith in God rather than man. I think when a person asks us on the street for money....we need to ask God and what is in our pocket better have loose fingers rather than a disobedient heart with a tight fist. But that is another time.
Stop asking me and start asking God if you claim to be a Christian with a cause or need. Let God tell me when and to who and how much to give. For that is how I give all the time....because what I have is His and I would never use His stuff without permission and direction.....if I did that would be stealing.
Where is your faith in God? When you ask .... you make me amazed at your lack of faith in God. I could careless what the "church way" of doing things if it goes against the Bible. AND YES....I DO BELIEVE THAT THE BIBLE IS LITERAL AND FOR US NOW....ALL OF IT. And if you do not ..... well then in my thoughts your view of God too small and so is your narrow brain.
