My pastor in his latest sermon issued an interesting challenge. He gave an account of three people who had a conversion to Christ: a woman of wealth (Lydia), a young slave girl, and a Gentile jailer. His challenge was could we find verses in the Epistle to Philippians that would give hints or fill in the details as to the gospel Paul might have presented to these people. Also, is there anything in philipians we could suppose was written to these three specific people. This has made for an interesting analysis of Phillipians in application to Acts 16.
