We praise the Lord for a successfull summer camp this year. We had many new kids from the area of our church, as well as kids from a new area, which I mentioned before. The second week we lost some kids halfway through the week. Parlamentary elections were held that week; why that affected children, I'm not sure. Several years ago, we decided to make our goal consistency in attendance instead of large numbers. The main goal of camp is to draw new kids and try to get them coming on Sundays after camp. I am thankful for just such results this year. Now our goal is to get them estabished before school starts. For some reason, when school starts parents, as well as kids I guess, think they don't have time to come to church on Sundays anymore. Several children responded to invitations. We will continue to try to bring them along to a full understanding of salvation. Now we have a week of camp in the country. We would appreciate your prayers for this week, as we get the kids away from worldly influences for four days and try to influence them for God through His word.
One exciting thing from Sunday: One of our member's brothers came to church. I met with him today to talk about salvation. He is supposed to come on Sunday to meet again concerning salvation. He lives in another province in the west-central part of the country, and will be going home soon. He seems very open.
