37 weeks. At Charleston now. Fluid levels are back up!
MUSC is in downtown Charleston -- there's a lot of history here.
The house we are staying at is on James Island on an inlet. This is the view from the backyard.
We arrived in Charleston and got settled in last night. We had a doctor's appointment this morning to get another ultrasound done and we are relieved that Jamie's fluid levels are back up! She is actually at "12" which is amazing considering she was at "8" and then "6" just a few days ago. We were able to see on the screen the pockets of fluid (dark areas) which were not there at the last ultrasound. This is somewhat remarkable and we are so very thankful that Martin has a chance to continue to grow and be born when he has some more weight. Low fluid levels would've made things much more difficult. We can't express adequately how grateful we are for your prayers.
We feel relieved that we are finally here in Charleston and Jamie is trying to get a lot of rest these days. It is our feeling that the baby should arrive sometime soon (even before inducement) just going by the history of our other children. We will keep you updated.
Psalm 139: "Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!"
