For the past week or so, the doctor had been concerned that Jamie's fluid levels were too low. She was at a level "8". This was very strange because she is a very big water-drinker. She is constantly drinking bottled water all throughout the day -- and night. But for some reason her fluids are low. She is at the doctor's now and they said she's at "6" -- which is lower than they like. We might have to go to Charleston early. They also had trouble detecting Martin's breathing on the monitor -- which might have something to do with the low fluid levels. Please pray for a safe delivery. We will know more in a few moments.. Thank you.
Update: Still hooked up to the monitor. Baby looks good. Jamie is contracting. Baby is very active. Speaking with the doctor shortly to get his assessment.
Update: The doctor says we need to go to Charleston as soon as possible. He already made an appointment for us to go to MUSC Thursday morning. We will leave tomorrow. Plans have changed. Things are happening very quickly now. We appreciate your prayers for a safe delivery and a smooth recovery for mother and baby.
