Oh how the temptations in the wilderness that Jesus had to suffer sure has great meaning in my life from the past 5 days! Satan sure does know how to hit us, when to hit us, and how to make a mess of a beautiful day with God. Last Tuesday, when I was having a great day with God....Lucifer came along and hit me with two major punches that floored me. I learned just how much I depend on God to keep me with Him through it all.

Today, I awoke from sleep (I have had terrible nights of sleep during this time) and realized, the temptation is too great and the cost is too high. I will not choose the offerings because it means my relationship with God and I am NOT giving that up. So I prayed for wisdom, strength, and guidance. Then I took care of the matter. It is done.

The Holy Spirit this morning told me that I made God very happy by my choice. God has made me so very happy in my life. He has done more for me than anyone else has ever done in all my life. I love spending time with Him. Besides....He gave me some gold to digest yesterday and I realized that I wanted only Him and needed to put all temptations out of my life and guard against evil!

This walk is not easy. The Devil, Lucifer (Satan), is a deceiver and he wants every Christian he can to either make us neutral, stop us from praying, or destroy us. This battle Lucifer....I choose God!
