The training that God gives beyond seminary helps bring a shepherd's heart for the flock of God. Tears are streaming down my face this morning as I feel the pain one of His children is and will face concerning what to do with his ailing Dad. Oh how I have lived this painful time in the past and my heart just pains for under my care. He is starting the walk on this path and I have finished it. It is such a painful path of character building.

A Dad.....a good Dad....the child grows up and takes him everywhere with them. People glean about this Dad from the grow up child in many ways. His sayings, the things that he did, some of his wisdom...etc...right down to how he sneezes! Yes, the child takes a good Dad and carries him in all their ways of life and to others. Dad lives on.

We are blessed to have a Father with the best kind of Father heart towards us for us to carry Him around in all that we do and say to others. The closer we walk with Him .... the more we become like Him!

This morning....the fog has lifted off my life and I see so clearly what has been happening! Thank you God for directing my foot steps and giving me what I need. I am in the palm of Your hand as You promised me.
