Prove Me Now .... A Spiritual Personal Journal #26
The end of a servant's life. Recently, I was able to meet and talk with a man of God who is 84 years old and retired from the pulpit. His wife is the most loving. We talked about the ministry and how he started when he was 40 to attend seminary with 3 kids; one in college and 2 in high school. He had his plate full and he chose to follow God's leading. Once he went to the new assignment and when his family finished moving everything...they found him sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag and nothing else there until they arrived. His fully grown son remembers some great memories.
The man of God is slowly failing health wise. Yet, he is in the palm of God's hand and He is taking care of him. The servant is at peace. The family is concerned. Yet, God has been faithful in providing everything for His servant!
God can be trusted!
To God be ALL the glory!
