The son of a former minister fought a battle at the altar when he was a teenager and firmly said, "NO." and walked away. His life turned around and he rebelled for 40 years. His parents, church, friends...all prayed for his salvation....nothing.....his Dad died a few years ago; slowly of cancer and his son still said no to God. Then out of the blue....he was having a back ache and it would not go away...so without health insurance he went to the doctor. Stage 4 Cancer of several areas...death was to come in a few weeks or days.

His mother came to the Prayer Meeting a few weeks back and I told her.....God has promised that if you raise up your child in His ways that he will not depart from it......and God must keep His promise and WILL. Even if you do not realize it or know it....thank God because it will happen! I knew this for sure because He told me.

About one week before his death last Friday, Gerry Sawyer, gave his life over to God. Now he is in heaven celebrating with his Dad! His mother is so joyful through her sorrows that her son made it home! His children now live on and experienced the transformation of their Dad.....and enjoyed some of his prayers for them before he was promoted to Heaven!

Yes.....God keeps His promises to us even when we fail.......no matter what....God will keep His word. There is hope even if we do not live to see it or even know it....there is still hope in God's ways! Don't rule out those in Comas....they are just like the Deaf and Blind which are trapped in the body but still able to think and feel (and hear)....God is not done until He is done...no matter what we think.
