Activities during the winter have include Boys BBall on Monday nights, Sweetheart Banquet (Feb. 12), the annual Basketball and Volleyball invitational tournament for Independent Baptist Churches (Feb. 26), and the Master Club’s Pine Car Derby March 5.
In March, we spring into action with Friend Day, Sunday March 20th for the first day of our Spring Revival with Evangelist Tom Farrell. Sunday night service will be at the normal 6:30pm. Weeknights (M-F, 21st–25th), services will begin at 7:00pm and feature special music each night. We hope you will make a special effort to join us for these much-anticipated services.
Our bi-annual Shepherd’s Retreat for men in the ministry will be Tuesday, March 22 starting at 11:30am with a full meal. Then, Dr. Farrell will be challenging us. We have a special resource to give you at the end. If you are a fundamental Bible Believing pastor, assistant, evangelist, or missionary, please call to let us know you are coming.
March 6th also launches our long-planned Adult Bible Classes on Sunday morning at 9:30. The topics, teachers, and locations for the first 13 weeks are posted in the church foyer. Pastor Chris’ class and the two teens classes will meet in the Annex.
After turning your clock forward on Saturday night, March 12, worship with us all day. Missionaries to Africa, Dave (wife: Lisa) Olson will be teaching/preaching in Sunday School and the evening service. We complete the month on Sunday, March 27 when our youth have charge of the evening service and Pastor Bill leaves for a survey trip to the Philippines.
Remember the Reformers’ Unanimous (RU) that meets every Friday night from 7 to 9 in our Gym for the purpose of helping anyone who is addicted to anything.
Also, if you child attends Red Lion High School, we invite him/her to our CIA Club (Bible Study) in RL High. CIA Club is held on both A & B Weeks every other Tuesday during club hour at 11:45 in room B209. Call our office at 927-9227 ext 2 or ask for Pastor Chris.
