I Timothy 1:12

Strive to do everything to the glory of God.
(I Corinthians 10:31)

Seek the blessing of God upon my life and work.
(I Chronicles 4:9-10; Psalm 90:17)

Live so that others know an honourable man of God is in my city.
(I Samuel 9:6)

Develop an intimate relationship with God.
(Genesis 5:22-24; Exodus 33:11; James 2:23)

Strive to please the Lord even when it may be unpopular with people.
(Galatians 1:8-10)

Yield myself to the Holy Ghost, not just praying for His power.
(Ephesians 4:30; 5:18-21; Acts 4:31; I Thessalonians 5:19)

Love God with all of my being, not the things of this world.
(Matthew 22:37-38; 6:24; II Timothy 4:10; I John 2:15-17)

Take God seriously and obey Him completely because He knows all of my secrets.
(Ecclesiastes 12:13-14; Matthew 6:1-6, 16-18; Romans 2:6)

Live a called life, not driven by external demands or performance.
(Luke 10:38-42; Philippians 3:3-14)

Finish the work that God gave me to do.
(John 4:34; John 17:4)

Delight in the will of God even when the circumstance is not enjoyable.
(Psalm 40:8; Matthew 26:36-44)

Begin with the end in mind, living my life so that I have no regrets on my deathbed.
(Ecclesiastes 7:2-4, 8a; Hebrews 9:27)

Preach and teach the Word of God from a prepared life.
(Ezra 7:10; I Timothy 4:11-16)

Earnestly contend for the faith without being contentious, remembering that how I answer is as important as having answers.
(Jude 3-4; John 1:14; I Peter 3:15; II Timothy 2:24-26)

Maintain balanced growth intellectually, physically, spiritually, and socially.
(Luke 2:52)

Exercise myself to always have a conscience void of offense toward God and others.
(Acts 23:1; 24:16)

Love others as much as I love myself, desiring for them what I want.
(Matthew 22:39; Ephesians 5:29)

Focus on ministry priorities by allowing others to serve with me.
(Exodus 18:13-26; Acts 6:1-7)

Succeed at home first, realizing that family relationships give credibility to my public ministry.
(I Timothy 3:4-5)

Redeem the time, making the most of every day and moment.
(Psalm 90:12; Ephesians 5:16; Colossians 4:5)

Emphasize faithful character (who I am) over talent (what I do).
(Matthew 25:14-30)

Seek to have a part in all aspects of the Lord's commission.
(Matthew 28:19-20)

Through separated living and prayer, may God find me able to stand in the gap for our nation.
(Ezekiel 22:30-31)
