The Christmas Eve Lessons & Carols Service is a beautiful annual ceremony featuring the Tenth Church Choir & Soloists, Tenth Chamber Orchestra, and the Westminster Brass. The congregation will participate in spirited carol singing and will hear Christmas scripture passages read by Senior Minister, Dr. Philip Graham Ryken. This year we will host two identical services, on the 23rd and 24th.
Tenth Family Christmas - December 24, 2007, 4:30 pm (doors open 4:00 pm). This program is especially for families with children. Schola Cantorum Choirs and Westminster Brass.
Doors open 6:45 pm, all three services will be webcast live.
Our Senior Minister is Dr. Philip Ryken, author of numerous books and speaker on the nationally syndicated Every Last Word radio program.
Tenth Presbyterian Church is committed to developing and maintaining a strong teaching pulpit in center city Philadelphia, an effective network of fellowship groups aimed at meeting individual needs, a program of Christian education to promote the steady growth of our church family to spiritual maturity and, in cooperation with other Christians, an evangelistic outreach to our city and the world beyond. Over the years Tenth has been blessed with a rich teaching ministry including Dr. James Montgomery Boice speaker on the Bible Study Hour, and Dr. Donald Gray Barnhouse.
