Dear Brother fellow-sinner, WHEN HE who is the Salvation of His poor elect people (Psalm 27:1) passed by the poor sinner polluted in his own blood, our Lord Jesus offered the sinner nothing, nor did our Lord mock him with appeals to so-called free will. Praise be to the Name of the WORTHY LAMB, with His powerful voice full of majesty (Psalm 29:4), He GAVE the sinner LIFE (Ezekiel 16:1-6). The Sovereign Redeemer who knows nothing of the least iota of failure—for “He will finish his work,” yea, “He shall save his people from their sins”—He gives poor sinners that nature that mourns because of sin and self and hungers and thirsts for the precious Lord Jesus Christ. Then do the chosen sheep hear only His voice and they follow Christ as LORD. * Offers are for folks with strength, those who need not a physician. Awakened “without strength” sinners have already tried and given up all offered remedies as they now pant for the SAVIOUR only. The only hope for a helpless sinner is HE who quickens dead sinners to life (Eph. 2:1-5), reveals Christ in the heart (2 Cor. 4:6; Luke 10:22; Gal. 1:15-16), makes them willing in the day of His power (Psalm 110:3), and draws them unto HIMSELF by the chords of His eternal love (John 6:44-45; Jer. 31:3; Song of Sol. 1:4), and His effectual “shall come” never fails in bringing them to Him (John 6:37). * What amazing grace and love! Poor sinners, awakened by the Sovereign Spirit, seek earnestly the Great Physician only because HE has already sought them out (Isaiah 40:10-11), picked them up in His arms and brought them to Himself. Oh, He seeks and saves His lost sheep! SALVATION IS OF THE LORD. Nothing can defeat His saving purpose. His eternal Blood Covenant triumphs. His saving reach never comes up short. Praise to our Victorious Sovereign THREE-IN-ONE!
