In February we launched two new Sunday School classes taught by the Assistant pastors—Marriage Builders, a Young Couples class and Discipleship Class for folks wanting to learn the rudiments of the Christian faith. The Sweetheart BQ on Sat., Feb. 14th was a great time of fellowship for about 80 folks. The Sat., Feb. 21st Volleyball tournament featured nine teams of teens from five other churches. Sat., March 7th will be our Master’s Club’s annual Pinecar Derby from 1-3. Friday-Sunday, March 13-15, 6:30 nightly, Aaron Samples, assistant pastor from Illinois, will be preaching a mini-revival to stir the hearts of Christians. On Sunday morning, March 15 at 10:30, Mt. Zion will host an Open House of our ministry. We have 1000’s of post cards, fliers, emails, and newsletters inviting our area to meet us. Come in, WE’RE OPEN. Sunday-Thursday, April 12-16th, Dr. David Cloud, missionary to Nepal, author, and director of Word of Life ministries will preach on current trends and issues facing the church and Christians. Don’t miss this informative week of meetings. Remember that the CIA Club (High School Bible Study) in Red Lion High School meets every other Tuesday at 11:45-12:25 in Rm C101. The Teens for Christ Bible Club meets at the Red Lion Junior High School every Monday, from 3:00 to 3:30 pm in Room 102.
