Thank you for all of the Christmas/New Year's holiday wishes. We are continuing to make progress with settling into our home. We have had a steady stream of visitors, which is GREAT motivation to keep things clean and to continue with some of the repair/upgrade projects. We have been enjoying all of the extra company and the opportunity to spend time with our friends. I think it is a good opportunity for Katherine to get to know people outside of our family.

Katherine is now 6 months old. She went for her vaccinations yesterday. She screamed at the top of her lungs, but stopped once we walked out of the office and hasn't seemed phased by it since we got home. Katherine's personality keeps coming out. She seems to change everyday. She just loves to play...she likes to be entertained and to entertain. No one is funnier than her grandparents...and when ALL of the grandparents are there...I bet she gets belly cramps from all of the laughing. Her new thing is playing peek-a-boo, by lifting her blanket over her head and moving it off...usually accompanied by a sound. If you don't pay attention to her initially, she will start to flap the blanket up and down until you do. She can sit for short periods. She is ALMOST rolling over. She has gone from back to belly on her own one time that I am aware of. She can go from belly to back from time to time. We are soon going to have to find an alternative to putting her on the ottoman/coffee table to play on. She grabs anything within reach...if she can lift it, it will go straight into her mouth. She still loves her exersaucer, and seems to have mastered all of the toys on it. She's just lots of fun, and I wish I could stay home and spend more time with her.
