Sorry not to have written in a few weeks, but our phone was out for almost 3 weeks, and we got a new computer and it took some time to get our address book changed over.
Our day camp continued to go well to the end with attendance in the upper 30's and low 40's. Several kids responded to the final invitation for salvation, and we have seen several in church since then, though not as many or as consistently as we would like.
One indirect result of day camp was several teens that came to several special services we had for teens over the last three weeks. We saw 10-13 kids, all boys, come out for 3 special activities and four respond to a salvation invitation at the end. Two of those had responded before to an invitation at day camp. They were 13 but had pleaded to be able to come to camp for the 10-12 year old week.
Our numbers in church have been down lately. I think we need to pray more to see people that come and respond, become consistent in their attendance. Also, we might see a change with the beginning of school Sept. 1st.
We messed up and sent the last e-mail without this last sentence!!: Until next week, thank you for your concern in the Lord's ministry here in Mongolia.
