We praise God again for what He has done in our midst, in response to our prayers and through our work. We had a good turnout Saturday with 5 couples going out to cover the area right behind our church, which we have been over twice before. I wondered if this was the best plan, seeing as this was to be our biggest week. We were able to do the whole area in two days, probably handing out about 900 tracts. Our goal was 45 people in church Sunday evening(the most we had had before that was 42), but God gave us 56! And 5 or 6 teens left before the preaching, so over 60 came in all! Praise the Lord! It was pretty evenly mixed between adults, teens and children.
God blessed Sunday, like He usually does, in ways that we did not expect. A few people came as a result of getting a tract, but many people came by other means. Particularly exicting to see was a couple in whose cafe I taught the first salvation lessons I ever taught here in Mongolia. They are still not saved, but it was exciting to see them come again. Another particular blessing was to see two of our former English students, now a young family, come. They called out of the blue last week. The young man formerly had no interest in Christianity. Yesterday they said they were thinking of coming to church regularly.
We have three salvation series lessons either going on, or to start this week. I look and pray for several more in the next few weeks. Please continue to pray as we have one more week planned to pray and work and see God bring people.
