October featured our annual Missionary Conference, Wed.-Sun., Oct. 22-26 with missionaries from around the world. At the end, we collected our faith promise totaling nearly $120,000.
We’ve finished a series on Wednesday nights on “The Prayers of Jesus Christ” and have just begun a series in Adult Sunday School class on “Lessons from Bible Couples.”
The CIA Club (Public School Bible Study) in Red Lion High Schoo meet every other Tuesday at 11:45-12:25 in Rm C101. If you are interested in your child attending this Bible enrichment class, call our office at 927-9227 ext 2 or ask for Pastor Chris.
Monday, November 17th 3:00-7:30, the Starr family will sponsor the “Cassie Bird Starr Blood Drive” at the church Annex in memory of Pastor Chris and Jenny’s daughter, Cassandra Hope Starr who passed away on August 17, 2008. The family wants to bring life to someone in need while raising the awareness of the danger of car seat deaths. Each person who gives blood will receive a Fact sheet about children dying in cars and an aid to prevent it donated by the family. The Central PA bloodmobile will be here for this special event. Come and give the gift of life for someone.
November 16th, Missionary to the Philippines, Dan Tessin will teach Sunday School and preach in the evening service. On Sunday night, November 30, we’ll have our bi-annual night of 4-men preaching. Each of 4 men in the church is given 10 min. to preach what God has given him. It’s a great night. Come and join us.
