You are invited to attend our Pre Communion classes. These meetings have already proved to be a major source of blessing and instruction to God's people.
Who may attend? These Pre Communion Services are open to all desiring to attend. All will be most welcome. Recordings are available on CD from Mount Merrion Free Presbyterian Church.
Why Have a Pre Communion Class? The purpose of pre-communion classes is to pray for God's presence and blessing for the approaching Holy supper. It is used to clearly preach the scriptural marks and fruits that must be experientially known to properly partake of the Lord's supper and to stress the importance of self-examination. It also instructs the congregation in the purposes of the Lord's supper and directs them to Christ. This service stresses the need for reconciliation and living in peace with God and our neighbours.
