Two more weeks to freedom!!

I just completed the last of the education modules that I have been working on. Wahoo!! I thought it would never end. Now I can start working on other projects that I have been meaning to get to...or maybe not.

My next doctor's appointment is scheduled for next Wednesday evening. This will be two days shy of my pregnancy being in it's 36th week. I am hoping that the doctor will lift the restrictions at that appointment. It'll be nice to maybe go out to dinner on that day to celebrate. The doctor plans to do an ultrasound to see if the baby is head up or head down. With my anatomy, there is a higher risk of her not being in the right position which would mean that I would need a C-section. From the movements that I have been feeling, I think that the baby is either head down or sideways.

As the days countdown, I am beginning to make plans for my days of freedom. I'm not sure how much energy I will have after being confined to the bed this long, but it doesn't hurt to have plans, right? What am I planning? I want to stop by work, make a trip to Sacramento, get a haircut, go to church, go to Great America to get our season passes (pre-purchased BEFORE I got pregnant), see the movie Wall-E, and go to Babys-R-Us to see what new baby gadgets that I MUST have. ;)

Overall, I am doing okay. I am feeling huge. I've noticed that my toes are beginning to look like little sausages, my hands and feet are puffier, and my watch is beginning to cut off my circulation. I've been having a lot more indigestion over the last few days, but it is probably related to the quantity of food that I am ingesting. I think the baby must be going through some type of growth spurt. It doesn't take long for me to become hungry even after a very large meal. I try to hold off for a while to keep from gaining too much weight (too late for that), but lately I almost become desperate for food and the baby starts getting very squirmy, making it almost impossible to ignore. Can't she just feed off of all of the extra padding that's already on my body?

I hope to see some of you when I break free!!
