How to obtain a peaceful sleep all night!! - - - - -

I once knew a rich man whom I worked for that could not sleep all night no matter what he tried. Then I thought of the wisest man to have lived said something to the effect that the abundance of a rich man will not suffer him to sleep. And he made his living off lying to people to their faces. How wicked this man was.....and he wondered why it is that he could not sleep. For all his money he could not buy a good night's sleep and he used to envy me for sleeping so wonderfully.

Before going to bed I read and/or listen to 6 chapters of the New Testament (6 chapters in the morning from the Old Testament). After my scriptures I consult with the Holy Spirit about how and what to pray about before going into the presence of God the Father. Then i appear before God the Father the way I have been instructed and present my petitions.

After my devotions I lay down and talk with the Holy Spirit until I have drifted off to sleep. Sometimes He tells me to now lay still and sleep. Other times He continues to talk with me while I am sleeping. On rare occasions I have known Him to continue talking with me all night while I sleep and I awake completely refreshed.

There are times while I sleep that God pulls me up into Heaven somehow....where He instructs me and communicates to me. These are rare nights and cheerished. Most of the times these are placed on my heart to pray that God brings me to heaven while I sleep. To be like Enoch!!!

When your heart is clean from all that can hinder you from God....offences are taken care of....and you pray and ask God to allow you to dream of anything spiritual but nothing carnal ..... and you make everything spiritual as you fall asleep.....you cannot help but sleep well.

Now if the Devil should happen to awake you in the middle of the night and you cannot fall back to sleep.......here is one sure way of causing him to leave you alone and allow you to fall back to sleep.....PRAY. Pray to God for sleep, pray for the salvation of your family, friends, co-workers. neighbors.....pray for Roseann Barr's salvation....pray for anyone that the devil would hate to see saved and make sure to pray in Jesus' name a lot during the prayers so that the ones you do so will have a chance to be answered!!! The devil hates it when you pray and if he knows you will attack him by praying once awaken......he will leave you alone. Keith Daniels taught me this....and it works!!!
