The most expensive xerox copy ever!

For some research I'm doing, I requested a transcript of SAT scores from the College Board. (Several things like this were lost in the college admissions process and I had no records. So I wanted copies; ask me about my grandfather's WWII service records being destroyed in a fire sometime.) They have a form on their web site which had me confused. It looks like normal transcripts are $9.50, and archival ones (yes, I'm that old! I'm in the archives!) are $22.50. I thought this was a tad on the expensive side, but needed a copy and sent off for one in May. So last weekend I got a letter saying I owed them another $9.50. I did not properly understand their form. The archival fee is in addition to the other fee! If I had known that, I would not have bothered.

All they did was make a photocopy of a single page and mail it to me. At over $30, it has to be the most expensive photocopy in the history of the world!
