I can’t help but chuckle at the inconsistencies of so many professing Christians these days. When the news broke that Satanist of Arkansas have adopted a one mile stretch of highway to keep clean, people went nuts. The rowdiest opponents vowed to throw trash out on this stretch in an effort to discourage the Satanist from continuing to pick up litter. Others want churches to adopt every mile of Arkansas highway so the Satanist don’t have any vacant mile to work with. Some even called the Arkansas Highway Department challenging the legality of allowing servants of Satan to pick up litter on the highway.
“Brother Harold, this is no laughing matter! We can’t let Satanist take over our God fearing state!” First of all, you are to late, the Satanist have already taken over the whole world. It began in Gen 3 and the Bible is clear in Eph 2:2 and in 1 Jn 3:10 that the world is following Satan. You’re just upset that some group was honest enough to tell us about it. Secondly, churches could pick up every piece of trash in Arkansas and it would have absolutely no effect on reducing the numbers Satanist among us. Lastly, (I could go on but I’m tired of debunking this ignorance) you could rewrite the Constitution and strip the Satanist of their freedom of religion. That would show them! But you would still have them. Simply hiding something from your view doesn’t make it go away. So yeah, I’m laughing at you. I am laughing because you look like a crying toddler standing next to a toy box learning to share with other kids.
But I’m not just laughing, I’m a little sad. Saddened by the level of immaturity of those people who profess to be on God’s side. If we are the only opposition to the forces of darkness, we must do better than this. Literally throwing trash, and trying to outlaw the opposition? That brings my emotions full circle, now I’m mad about this. Mad at the preachers who claim that God called them to instruct His church. Sirs, if you refuse to rightly divide the Word of God at least consult an American history book. Acquaint yourselves with the greatest right we enjoy, the freedom of religion. Not the freedom to be a Christian like us, the freedom to believe what ever we want. Perhaps you could start by recognizing that you once followed Satan. And were it not for the grace of God you would still be following him. How was it that you entered the straight an narrow? Through Churches doing all the charity work? Or were those Christians making life hard on everyone else, and you got so discouraged that gave up and joined them? Oh, I bet they outlawed sinners? No sir, if you are a child of God it is because you heard the gospel from other believers and you believed it. If you want to stop Satanist, share the gospel.
