It doesn’t matter whether our names are written on any membership rolls on earth or not. If our names were written from eternity in the Lamb’s book of life, His shed blood has since, forever united us as one together with Christ and made us fellow citizens with all those for whom He died. Ephesians 2:20 adds, “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.” Our hope is not in wives’ tales, or men’s ecclesiastical tranditions, but firmly in the inspired Word of God revealed through the LORD’s apostles and prophets, of whom Jesus Christ IS the Chief Cornerstone, “In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the LORD: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” (Ephesians 2:21-22)Works religion has its monuments, symbols, and denominational creeds, Christ’s Church however, depends on none of these things, but is itself a spiritual holy temple in Christ the Head and His finished work at the cross, and it’s members declared HOLY in that righteousness that Christ earned and established, and God the Father imputed once for all to each member’s spiritual account forever. Christ’s Church is ONE-Ephesians 4:4-6.
