The Fulfillment of All Things in Christ Jesus
The Fulfillment of All Things in Christ Jesus “And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began…” ( Acts 3:20,21 )
We don’t yet see in the world, nor in our flesh, the full effects of the redemption and justification of God’s children because of the effects of sin’s presence, Romans 8:23 , although the penalty has been paid. Yet, it is with hope in the LORD Jesus, as preached in the Scriptures by His holy prophets (sanctified and set apart by the Holy Spirit) that we await the complete restitution of all things to a righteous state, free from the very presence of sin, and complete rectification and removal of all of the effects of the fall. The prophets declared Him Who was to come, and the sufferings He should suffer to enter into glory, 1 Peter 1:11 , and what they foretold was accomplished in His first coming. This then gives God’s children hope in the full, final, and forever reversal of the effects of sin for us, when each one will be completely saved to sin no more! O Glorious Promise! O Glorious Hope!
