The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth. Proverbs 10:27-30
Phil. 4:4, “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Believers in the Lord Jesus do rejoice in the Lord always. They rejoice that His grace is always sufficient, that His blood ever cleanses them from all sin, that by His righteousness imputed to them they are justified before the law, that His love for them never fails, that by His providence He continually works all things together for their good, to them who are the called according to His purpose, that His intercession before the Father on their behalf is continual and rejoice that their names are written in heaven.

"Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father."
I John 2:23
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. There cannot be a Father without a Son, or a Son without a Father. He that honors not the Son as such, honors not the Father. He is the very Christ and true Messiah spoken of by the prophets, typified in the sacrifices, and looked for by Old Testament saints. He is that Prophet, our great High Priest, and our sovereign King. Anyone who denies Christ's true deity and humanity, no matter what office, position, or praise he gives to Christ, is an antichrist! To make Him any less than He is, is to rob Him of His glory. If Jesus of Nazareth is not "the Word made flesh" (God in human flesh) He is an imposter and all who worship Him are idolaters! But if He is "Very God of Very God" all who reject Him in that character are condemned.

A naked sinner can be clothed, but a sinner covered with his own righteousness must be stripped. This is always true. We must be stripped of all that has to do with self or we cannot be clothed with that which pertains to God. We are called to live by faith; we can see nothing with the eye of sense. The Lord Jesus has gone up on high, and we are told to wait patiently for His appearing. God's Word carried home to the heart in the power of the Holy Spirit is the basis of confidence in all things: temporal and spiritual, present and future. He tells us of Christ's completed sacrifice. We by grace believe and commit our souls to the efficacy thereof, and we know we shall never be disappointed.
Pastor Scott Richardson
To those who truly believe, those who have this precious faith, "HE IS PRECIOUS" (1 Peter 2:7). This is one way I know that God has given me this faith. The faith which I have will not permit me to look to, trust in, rest upon, live upon, or have any hope in anyone but Christ, and Christ alone! Unto me "HE IS PRECIOUS!"

RECONCILIATION IN CHRIST
“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Cor. 5:18-21).
God has given and committed to His church the ministry and message of reconciliation in and through Christ Jesus (2 Cor. 5:18). God has reconciled His chosen people unto Himself, through the great and glorious sacrifice of Christ's precious blood (2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Peter 1:18-20). It is true that our sins have totally separated us from God (Isa. 59:2-8), but it is also just as true that when Christ Jesus died to put away our sin (Heb. 9:26) He did not fail to bring in total and everlasting reconciliation for them (Isa. 42:4).
Our message is not to propose terms of peace, nor to beg sinners to make peace with God, but rather to proclaim that peace has already been made between God and His people through Christ crucified; "Having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto Himself" (Col. 1:20). Now that God has removed the reason for our separation, our sin (Psalm 103:10-11) now we can freely proclaim to those who know themselves to be ungodly sinners, "Be ye reconciled to God" (2 Cor. 5:20). That is, bow to and submit yourselves to God's absolute rule, almighty power, sovereign will, and glorious sacrifice. Believe the Lord Jesus Christ as your only Lord, Saviour, hope, redemption, righteousness, and reconciliation (Rom.10:1-4; 1 Cor. 1:30).
