SERMONAUDIO TIP
Preaching + Music 24x7 SermonAudio Radio Stream
Attention all users,

We are pleased to announce that our very own 24x7 SermonAudio Radio Stream is now available on PCs and mobile devices for your non-stop listening enjoyment! The stream provides a collection of great preaching and sacred music in a programming schedule that aims to be a blessing to all who may listen.

HOW TO TUNE IN. Simply look for the RADIO button found on the upper-right corner of the site. Alternatively, you can navigate to www.sermonradio.com OR sermonaudio.fm from your PC or mobile device (iPhone, iPad, Android, etc).

Mobile Radio Support! The latest version of our iPhone+iPad App and Android App adds built-in support for our 24x7 Radio Stream so you can now tune in and enjoy the stream wherever you are either at home or on the road! Simply click on the RADIO icon located in the HOME tab and enjoy it on those long commutes!

Some of the audio included in the programming schedule include:

  • Random staff picks.
  • Random featured sermons.
  • Spurgeon's daily devotionals.
  • Clips from Lamplighter's collection of children's audio dramas.
  • Clips from the Pilgrim's Progress unabridged audio drama.
  • News in Focus commentaries.
  • Bible readings.
  • Beautiful sacred music including a collection from The Sacred Music Source.
  • Sacred piano arrangements by Hannah Allison from the Matchless Grace CD.
  • And more inspirational preaching and teaching...
Be sure to let others know who may benefit from this kind of "passive" listening experience. Shut-ins and others who are unable to actively navigate on the site. It's the newest way to be blessed with the riches found here on SermonAudio.com!

Internet Radio Devices Support.
There are a plethora of standalone Internet radio streaming devices on the market that are supported like the Logitech Squeezebox Radio. Simply use the following URL: http://radio.sa-media.com:8000

The SermonAudio Radio Stream is not only available directly on our website, and through our mobile apps, but it is also available through third-party streaming sites such as iTunes Radio, Aha Radio, TuneIn, Tuner24, Streamingthe.net, and Delicast.

New! Now Playing Information. Whether you tune in to the radio stream on your iPhone or Android (or on the web), you can see what is currently playing. But with our iPhone App, you can see this information on Bluetooth devices as well (ie: cars).

We hope this new method of listening to the great preaching and resources found on SermonAudio.com will prove to be a blessing to you either in the car, in your home, or wherever you may be!

Thanks!
We are doing our best to implement the radio for Android devices but we're running into some snags. Developer, give us a holler if you have experience with Shoutcast and Android!

Hmm, where shut-ins and even more so with invalids who might not be able to control what they hear and the amount that they do here of a particular topic--I would say be particularly cautious.

When I was living around the Chicago area I appreciated one thing that the Moody Bible radio Bible service did, this was they had secular programming of interest mixed in with their religious programs. This was a good, "sneaky," way of getting the message across without being insufferably one tracked. One example would be, about this invalid, perhaps they would consider this religious programming the same as having Rush Limbaugh on for 24 hours a day. So, and invalid's stamina for marathon religious programming may not be the same as the caregiver.

But, I think that SA has a good idea on this. I wish them well in this endeavor.
