What is ROKU?
Roku is a tiny, little box that allows you to instantly stream tons of third-party content on your TV. Its remote-control interface is very easy to use and can be setup in 5 minutes. Roku connects to your high-speed Internet connection with an ethernet cable or even wirelessly! There are no extra monthly bills to use this device.
Disclaimer: We are always very excited when we find other avenues to make the sermons on the site available to more people. However, SermonAudio does not necessarily endorse all content on the Roku player as it is a third-party product. We ask that our listeners exercise discretion when using these and other such services.
SermonAudio ROKU Edition allows you to browse and search through our library of over 658,000+ FREE MP3 sermons from thousands of different speakers and listen to any of them immediately in a TV-friendly format with an easy-to-use remote-based interface and large on-screen buttons.

Just so some of you know, this is not a review of the product. This article is to inform you of the service that SermonAudio is providing via Roku. Some of the earlier commenters seem to think that this a review.
We love our Roku player and LOVE the fact we can get Sermon Audio!! I just have one question. We are wondering why many of the videos available on our PC via the web site are not available on the ROKU? Is this something that will be updated over time? Just wondering?

We have not experienced this issue. My first guess would be that it is a problem with your Internet connection speed and/or consistency. I'm sorry you are experiencing this issue.

CNET agrees with you, Roku LT whose review might be just a wee bit more impartial than SA's?

I installed a Roku XD yesterday to avoid having to take my notebook to the larger external monitor whenever I wanted to stream sermon video for more than one person to see. My initial experience is quite positive. I had only one problem in getting started, but it was significant, so I will mention it and the solution.
Initially, I could not get video from SermonAudio, only audio. Each time that I tried to start a video (either stored video or live webcast), the Roku switched to a "Retrieving" screen but then after about 30 seconds apparently timed out and jumped back to the prior screen. Ultimately, we determined that this was a firewall issue, not a Roku issue. When starting SermonAudio webcasts in Firefox, I have been having to use the "Alternate Stream" because of the firewall in my DSL modem. The Roku provides no way to choose this alternative (not that I found, at least). I solved the problem by opening port 1935 to TCP traffic, thus enabling the RTMP protocol that SermonAudio uses. Not only did this enable SermonAudio video through the Roku, I no longer need to choose Alternate Stream on my PC. Hope this helps others.
For a secular review you can look at the CNET one that was updated this year, in fact I saw one quite recently, and I have to say it's an interesting gadget, but have a computer or two, I don't think I need this, I think CNET recommended the higher priced boxes since you can some extra features you might wish to use, but anyway, Roku HD Player ..., they liked it in their latest review. People who don't want a big computer sitting in their front room, etc., for a video media distribution this is looks like a good alternative.
