The petition to let Texas secede from the U.S. to be reviewed by the White House

As of 3:40 p.m. ET, more than 25,000 Texans have already signed the petition on The White House website to let Texas peacefully secede from United States of America and “create its own NEW government.”

The petition, created on Nov. 9, argues for secession.

Frank of course has the right idea, I don't think he's a supporter of Theonomy

John U.K., the devolution that Great Britain is suffering from--for that reason alone the Liberals should have lost power much earlier! is a destructive idea.

I think a petition to let Texas split into 5 different states, which is recognized in our Constitution might be given some thought however, perhaps not by the Democrats, however.

Well, I have to admit that I am not learned as to the history of it, but I do know it isn't a Christian thought. They tried to make Christ a king when He was here the first time and He said no. I can cite dozens of clear scriptures against it and they have to use the inference of a few to support their cause, but they simply don't see or understand what they are doing. So ist das Leben!
Anyway, fellow pilgrim (notice I didn't say alien this time ), thanks for the history lesson.
2 Timothy 2:3,4
If any come back, you'll notice they either they do not bring scripture into their argument, or they will wrap scripture in their own gift paper. But more likely is that (like the papists), they will abide in OT practices, doctrines and priestcraft.

Good ol' pilgrim!

Blessings to you also, and thanks for the texts.

I sincerly hope no one is fooled by this pseudo-Christian kingdom now stuff. Christ will set up his kingdom when He returns, not a second sooner. Notice Ga. 6:14 in particular.

Ga.6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Is. 40:15 Behold, the nations [are] as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.

Is. 40:17 All nations before him [are] as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.

Ps. 59:8 But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.

Jo. 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. [15] I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. [16] They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

the point about energy is an interesting one, and having access to coast.

it would be good to look back at battles between tsa and state of texas which are ongoing. currently new discussion of legislation which would protect citizens from being molested in the aiport. this was done a few years back and dc promised no fly zones over texas! look it up!

they are beginning to bring drones in the country, electronic conversation is all recorded now in databases -- same strategy as done in Lbya could be done here.

in fact, my thinking is that they want it to happen.

agenda 21 is the blueprint. it benefits companies such as M who will have control over the food production of the world -- their seeds self-destruct (the gay gene, I call it) so the farmer is beholden to them.

the plan is everyone on gm foods, bring people into cities -- the land belongs to intern'l group.

and yes, the tribes stole from each other. well, you know two wrongs don't make a right. 19 million Indians lived from coast to coast. 18 million lives lost.

the traditional american is facing the same system that brought down the Indian.

Would that senatorial candidate be "Secede Kilgore"?

Don't underestimate the Canadians. They initially cleaned our clocks in two wars (Revolution and 1812) before eventually "losing" both (as Britain's ally/colony).

Number of states, not population.

But Neil, PR has the right to self-determination of their own parent nanny state per Article 1 of the UN Charter (paraphrased).

Lincoln didn't call for troops until SC commenced hostilities by firing on a Federal fort. If that wasn't a "casus belli" requiring a military response, I don't know what is. Presumably a new Republic of Texas would not be so stupid.
Texas will have to be on the watch for any "Edmund Ruffin" wannabes. Whether indigenous or "planted" by "union" opposition to discredit any legitimate secession effort.

Just read his Wikipedia entry. He sounds like he was one bitter dude.
