Army Removes Crosses, Steeple from Chapel

The U.S. military ordered soldiers to remove a cross and a steeple from atop a chapel and to board up cross-shaped windows at a remote American forward operating base in Afghanistan.

The removal of Christian symbols from the chapel at Forward Operating Base Orgun-E came after a solider complained — leading American Atheists president David Silverman to send a letter to the Pentagon.

“Soldiers with minority religious beliefs and atheists often feel like second-class citizens when Christianity is seemingly officially endorsed by their own base,” Silverman told Fox News. “We are very happy the Pentagon and the Army decided to do the right thing.” ...

C000, I have always considered America to be founded as a Masonic Republic Thank God! Every so called church/state combo have had only Satanic results, remember,
Gil Rugh said or, wrote:
A discussion of the differing views of the millennial kingdom as prophesied in the Scriptures makes the case in point of the need to rightly divide the Word of God. Differing views of the kingdom are arrived at by beginning with a different regard for the Scriptures and differing methods of their interpretation. Differing views result in differing perspectives on the world around us and differing practices in regard to social issues, morality, and responsibility to human government.

Well, James...I think that would be a very fitting motto should the original ever be replaced.
I was also thinking more about which god is being trusted in since the dollar has several Masonic symbols embedded within. The all-seeing eye, the obelisk, and I think there was another. Unless what I read/heard is a bunch of nonscense.

C000, I have suggested in the past the motto on U.S. coins should be, "Greed Works!"

Matthew 6
23 "But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
24 "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.---NASB

"“Soldiers with minority religious beliefs and atheists often feel like second-class citizens when Christianity is seemingly officially endorsed by their own base"

God is the "second class" citizen of the western nations, especially when Satan is in charge.

Jesus states:-
Jn 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Psalm 14 and 53 is correct the atheist is a fool. And who are we to argue with God!

Prov 29:16 When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.

I agree Neil. Our gods are what we esteem the most. It is either the God and Father of our Lord, or it is something He created; like nature or wealth, governments, etc. The "in God we trust" on our money is simply a form of idol worship and has no spiritual significance.

2nd class citizens? ...whatever.

I'm just waiting for the new currency to begin printing and the collection/destruction of the old because "In God we trust" is causing people to commit suicide over such a distressing phrase.
