Update: 24 killed in Moore tornado, 9 children

MOORE, Okla. – The medical examiner’s office has confirmed 24 people were killed in the Moore tornado Monday.

Amy Ellis with the M.E.’s office said 9 of those killed are children.

She said seven children were found at Plaza Towers elementary school and two more were found elsewhere.

Ellis said that number could continue to rise.

The medical examiner’s office confirmed at least 233 people have been injured but 101 people were pulled from the damage overnight.

By His life, death and resurrection Jesus merited the indwelling of the Spirit and through the grace of His Spirit, we are able to rise above our own will and desires and live in His Will, His peace and His love.
We have then two aspects of Salvation—God's and ours.

b. Jesus merited salvation by shedding His Precious Blood.
c. The Spirit fills our souls with grace—gifts and fruits in order to sanctify us."

He that justifies the wicked, and he that condemns the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.

[16] Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Gal 2:16

[19] To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. [21] For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2Cr 5:19, 21 KJV)

[18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [36] He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (Jhn 3:18, 36 KJV)

NO JUDGMENT!

Gotta take my wife to the store, but will try to respond later. If you keep it civil!

Thanks! I can't believe I forgot her name since she is one of the founders of the channel. Old age. And of course, you are correct, she is a hereitic. I have stated this before, but will again. I listen sometimes to the Catholic channel to learn more about them, but never from them.

Anyway, thanks for the link and thanks Luke 17:10 for your thoughts.

Yes indeed, that is good, bro. I pray for people as well, including Steve.

I think some issues are far beyond our understanding, and the Lord will not expect us to grasp everything, especially when it comes to his decrees. But he knows what he does.

It was interesting that he noted the circumcision of the heart. And yet, he holds to those who profess that sacraments or a baptism can circumcise our hearts. I remember someone asking Mother (whats her name ?) on the Catholic channel how someone is saved. She said ( I am obviously paraphrasing here); join the RCC, partake of all the sacraments; and make sure you confess all your sins. Or something like that. she never once mentioned Christ being their Lord and Savior and being born again.

Anyway, thanks for the link and thanks Luke 17:10 for your thoughts.

SteveR, I really wonder why you insist on showing a negative, condescending attitude toward those whom you say are your brothers in the Lord. It is not Frank's fault that you do not share his sense of humor. You could have left off your post with the first line and have expressed your opinion without the snarky paragraph that followed. (like you really had anything to do with the different views of lapsarianism)
Christians?
You mean the uncircumcised in the heart forsaken high priests of SermonAudio sanctimony who please themselves with spiteful hearts & lies to attack my fellow Christians(RCC, Presbyterians, Mega Churches etc) with the thorns of old hatreds

Whimper if you want, but if your cohort of uncircumcised Philistines continue to assail Gods people, you will continue to be shamed for the pernicious behaviour.

Um, it's "Organization" you heretic. And don't try to blame it on spellcheck cuz that won't fly. Repent. Anyone who spells organization like that can't possibly be saved and I have to wonder what your true purpose on this forum really is...hmmm.

Ha-ha...this is the kind of silly logic I've seen here and there. Not here, but at other times. I don't know how many times people have inferred that I wasn't saved because of some crazy thing.
My point, I don't have one. The reason I just posted this within this thread: I don't know.
Anyway, US, I love, love, love, and am always impressed and filled with respect when anyone defends another; if the person deserves to be defended anyway. Whether here or anywhere, I always like to see that. I have spent my life defending others, even when it wasn't any of my business but have received little to nothing in return so it always perks me up when I see someone sticking their neck out. Others have as well, I know, and I'm always impressed when I see it, here or IRL.

John, that is an excellent link. I thought I understood the differences, but now I am going to give it some more thought. After skimming it, I think the truth lies in a combination of more than one. But, in all seriousness, I really never intended for this to be part of the issue as to whether God creates evil. There is some overlap, but that is all.
I am going to rename my meditation on Catholicism and leave out the word cult. That way SteveR might want a copy of it. What do you think?
I can't believe he is saying such nasty things to me, but since he isn't presenting anything relating to scripture, then I won't respond to him.
Morning Frank,
Yes, those four main views each have warrant from scripture, and personally I would not even attempt to get to grips with it. It is something for theologicals to grapple with, not me. I prefer to look at a scripture, and try to understand it in light of the rest of scripture, and leave it at that. Seeming paradoxes can remain just that for me.

Roman Catholicism is certainly an organisation not a church. Deluded.

(like you really had anything to do with the different views of lapsarianism) It doesn't matter what you say or think of me, but I do get tired of you castigating the fine people who post here with a simple desire to assist others in their walk with Christ. I might even understand the back and forth banter you have with those who treat you the same way you treat them, yet the Lord said do unto others AS you would have them do unto you. So tell your big shots a message for me, God resists the proud but gives grace unto the humble. I hesitate to even post this because I am no better than the next guy and have my own corruptions to bemoan, yet I felt compelled to say something in light of this senseless attack.

Cute? Dont think so.

Listen Frank, I just talked it over with the big shots over here. We really dont like you using our words that you dont understand to appear intelligent. Do you think it was easy for us to think up such long words? Those are some pretty long words! Sure, its easy for you with all kinds of time and free cyberspace to display your ignorance showing off but what about the fortune we spent on typesetting 'Infralapsarianism' and 'Supralapsarianism' all these centuries just to have you ruin their meaning in 2013?

I tell you what, you want to critique our form of baptism...fine!

You want to redefine words to justify your form of baptism? Big deal, it just makes you look more ignorant than you are.

But after centuries of raising pedigree Swans for their quills, we wont stand for you redefining 'Infralapsarianism and Supralapsarianism'
