Public School Bans Religious Visitors
An Arkansas public school district has banned youth pastors and other religious groups from visiting during school hours after a Wisconsin group filed a complaint and called the practice “predatory.”

“We have temporarily suspended allowing these youth pastors and other faith based leaders to come in during the lunch hour and we are reviewing policy and the law,” Conway Public School Supt. Greg Murry told Fox News.

The school district has retained the services of Liberty Institute, a law firm known for handling religious liberty cases. ...

God didn't order human sacrifice. Abraham knew that God would have never taken Isaac's life because it would have made Him a liar, nullifying God's promise to Abraham concerning Isaac's
future role.
As for genocide, it was more of a purification because the angels that sinned, leaving their first estate, disrobing, infected the genetic state of mankind. Only Noah and his family were found to be genetically clean from the infection of the Nephelim. After the flood, more angels sinned and God needed to "clean up" once again. These
are the angels who are chained in dark caves right now. I think the rest are too fearful to pull this again, no matter how they may lust.
I know this all sounds fringe, but the Bible means what it says and the angels werw not the sons of Seth which is easily disproven.
Uh, oh...now I've done it...ha-ha.

Hit the nail on the head!

We know from Romans 1 that the spiritually blind suppress the truth. It's not that they don't know; just that they don't want to acknowledge it because it would then have a claim on their lives.

And that is the basic problem with PM - he is a rebell and wishes to die rebellious!

Why is he on SA? Good question! Maybe feeling pangs of guilt - bit like Judas!

Nope. Perhaps a misunderstanding that I'll attempt to clarify.

To love, believe, trust, revere God is the outworking of faith.... a possession, not an action. I assumed you knew that.

Paul called the Deuteronomic covenant (Deut 6:5, 29:1ff), aka the book of life (Rev 20:15) the law of faith (Rom 3:27) in contradistinction to the law of works (Sinaitic covenant).

So I say again, there is no command to love, believe, trust, revere (outworking of faith) God in the Sinaitic covenant which all unbelievers will be brought under the yoke of, judged by, and found guilty (Rev 20:12-15).

Assuming you had an open mind and were seeking the truth of the matter, the truth of the relevant texts I quoted and the conclusion drawn from them should be self evident.

That said, I doubt your interest is in discovering the truth but to make God out to be an unjust monster and trip up God fearing Christians who are less mature in the faith.

Unless you've got something further to add or need more clarification, I'm done. Thanks for the opportunity to put your cute but false analogy out of its misery.

Even if that were accurate, it's nothing more than a cop out in avoidance of the real issue, faith. That'd be like me saying that until my dog gets a job, I'm going to beat him everyday not for being unemployed, but for the last time he peed on the carpet or whatever. It's a sick thing to do, and while I'm no lawyer I doubt such an argument would carry much weight when I end up getting picked up on animal cruelty charges. However, this is the same God who ordered genocide and human sacrifice as well as condoned slavery and rewarded rape, so I shouldn't be surprised. Ha!

I can't fault you for lack of creativity.

Sin is the transgression of God's law (1 John 3:4). There is no transgression where there is no law (Romans 4:15).

Therefore, on the last day (the day of the Lord), all whose names are not written in the book of life (Deuteronomic covenant aka the covenant of grace; Deut 6:5) will be brought under the yoke of the law by the Son of man (John 5:26-27) and judged by the law (Sinaitic covenant aka the covenant of works; Romans 2:12, Rev 20:12) according to their works.

These is no command to love (believe) God in the Sinaitic covenant but rather love your neighbor as yourself (Lev 19:18, Gal 5:14). Hence, unbelievers will be condemned for Decalogue transgressions.

Doctor of divinity, eh?

Have a great day.

Thank you for the reminder, Lurker. This is the part where I really get myself into trouble with some of you folks, but...

Here's the bottom line: When you come down to it, unbelief is really the only transgression that can condemn a sinner to Hell.

When you boil down the Gospel message, that's the conclusion you're left with. Name any other transgressions and I'll tell you that if there'd been faith it would've been covered by the blood of Christ.

All other sins are beside the point. Faith is the sine qua non as in Hebrews 11.6: "without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him."

Oh dear!

Pastor Mike obviously overlooked my post. I'd better post it again or he'll be devastated by his oversight.

It's your position, Mike, that faith is a gift of God and if someone is faithless (a God rejector such as yourself), it is unjust for God to comdemn that person for unbelief.

Name someone who is sinless in the sight of God with the sole exception of unbelief and you may have an argument. Short of that..... diversionary fluff most likely contrived to sooth your humanist conscience.

On the contrary adusty, the athiest shouldnt be entertained like he is on here. I dont argue the bible and God with no body. God gives us freedom of choice to worship and serve Him. The aithest heard the word, tries to discredit it, dus credit the existance of God, ect, ect, he made his choice, you can lead a camel to water but its up to the camel to drink.

The atheist helps the Christian to observe ignorance, darkness and complete lack of spiritual discernment in action.

We can observe "pastor mike's" lack of truth and knowledge in his posts which in turn reveals the specific work of the Holy Spirit in the Christian. God Himself identifies this in Psalm 14 and 53. Then of course there is "deceivableness and delusion in those who are perishing" ......

2Thes 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Perhaps when Pastor Mike returns to us after celebrating his victory he will share with us the name of one person who will stand guiltless before the Judge of quick and dead of all sin with the sole exception of unbelief.

If he can't..... well he's a smart man. I believe he can figure out what that means regarding his diversionary fluff.

Quite so, Mike.

There was a young chap once who embarked on his first attempt at Ye Olde Debating Society in Londinium.

He stood up to deliver his response, which was all of two mintues long, and then declared, "Okay folks, I win! Let's all go home."

Upon which the large audience burst into such a laughter, and with such volume and gusto, that several of the windows in the place shattered.

They said afterwards that it was probably the high-pitched laughter from the ladies that caused such a phenomenon.

And then I awoke, and behold, it was but a dream.

...as opposed to the lights out view that you now hold onto. I'd rather not even discuss any of this because I'm certain that it will bring judgement by some but will be happy to if you would be able to honestly consider it with an open mind.
The Bible says that those who reject god are willfully ignorant to His existance. This leaves them without excuse when they realize, in the end, that they were so wrong.
I forgot to mention a phrase when quoting Anton LeVay on his deathbed...he said, "Oh my, what have I done? Something is wrong...something is very, very wrong." as he looked around the seemingly empty room. I think rejecting God gives people a certain freedom to enjoy because they can live and do as they please without ever having to be held accountable.
