52% Say Boy Scouts Should Not Allow Homosexual Scout Leaders
A majority of Americans say the Boy Scouts should not allow open homosexuals to be Scout leaders, according to a new Gallup Poll.
The survey, conducted Nov. 28-29 for USA Today, found that only 42 percent of Americans support openly gay Scout leaders, while a majority 52 percent are opposed.
I'm disappointed that the poll only hit 52%. This just shows how far and wide liberalism has spread. One of my sister-in-laws is RC and I am very concerned with how their girls are being raised in that system. The topic of homosexuality came up one time and she commented that there isn't anything wrong with it. I immediately spoke out against it and she countered with the fact that it's not mentioned in the ten commandments. I was floored. My wife, her sisters and husbands, Grandmother, and parents have been going to their mass religiously every week for their entire lives, and believe that missing mass is a sin. Well, I find it astonishing that even after attending church their entire lives, their knowledge of God's word is limited to the ten commandments, minus the one about idolotry that they replaced to support Mariolotry. I just don't understand how they can be so comfortable entrusting their eternal security to a sinful man who believes he is Christ on Earth and a church as opposed to finding out what God Himself has to say about things.
