Bible-believing Episcopal penalized

A communications manager doesn't think it was smart for the Episcopal Church to essentially strip its South Carolina bishop of his ministry credentials for taking a stand for biblical principles and values.

Officials with the national church have "inhibited" Bishop Mark Lawrence, taking away his clearance to perform ministry functions for 60 days -- the time allotted for him to respond to allegations having to do with the division between the liberal, dominate faction of the church and biblically based members like himself. In response, his diocese has severed its relationship with the Episcopal Church. ...

I guess this a heave a sigh time.

The Episcopal church is a branch of the Anglican Church, "The faith of Anglicans is founded in the scriptures, the traditions of the apostolic church, the apostolic succession â€“ "historic episcopate" and the early Church Fathers...." Anglicanism. As Spurgeon wrote in the 19th century, '...the State Church, which the great reformers had planted, and which some of them had watered with their blood, presented the spectacle which went far to justify the sarcasm of an eminent writer, that she possessed "A Popish Liturgy, a Calvinistic Creed, and an Arminian Clergy."' excerpt from, The Down Grade.

The definition that separates Christians from non-Christian, "Only Scripture," "Only Christ," "Only Grace," "Only Faith," and "To God Alone Be Glory". By definition, the Episcopal Church is not Christian. A Christian that is in it needs to get out of it! Find a Christian Church! Evaluating the Church Today.
